Copper Rods and Geometric Forms Part 3
This is the 3rd webinar in this 5-part series. The new elements added in this class include walking in a hexagram coordinated with the 12 fold exercise, the Waterfall rod exercise, and the challenging task of walking a spiral. We also took a next step in the poem "I live my life in growing rings" by Rainer Marie Rilke.
Copper Rods and Geometric Forms Part 5
This is the 5th and final webinar in this series. We begin with a deep consideration about eurythmy, beginning with its birth as an art form, its extension into therapeutic and therapeutic modalities, and then this work that we are cultivating with Eurythmy as a Personal Practice. In this module, we reviewed Weight/Light, Contraction/Expansion, Walking, and all the geometric forms we have covered. We then reviewed the three major rod exercises (7fold, 12fold and Waterfall), all with forms. Our last exercise was focusing once again on the poem by Rilke "I live my life in growing rings."
Copper Rods and Geometric Forms Part 4
This is the 4th in a 5-part series. In this class, we covered: Weight/Light, Contraction/Expansion, Slow and Fast 3fold walking, Learning how to move lines, triangles, circles, spirals and lemniscates, 3 rod exercises with walking. In the advanced portion, we took our 4th step in learning how how to work with the poem by Rilke in Eurythmy.
Copper Rods and Geometric Forms Part 2
This is the second of five webinars teaching the amazing world of copper rod exercises and how to move straight lines and curves in eurythmy. In this lesson, we focused on learning to feel the whole body sensing space as in moves forms and as we move the rod. We also worked on learning to visualize our movements as an etheric practice just before moving it. In this way, we practice thinking with the will!!! In the last 30 minutes, doing advanced work, we took a next step in the poem by Rilke "I live my life in growing rings."
