The Body as a Temple, Part 1: Embryology in the Light of Anthroposophy

We will begin our Studies in Anthroposophy this year with a consideration of “occult embryology,” an understanding of the profound interweaving of spirit and matter that has been evolved through long ages of time. The temple of our body has been created by of great spiritual beings who, through their harmonious work, have fashioned Spirit into bodies that enable us, as evolving ego-beings, to live on the earth. We will consider how, we descend into incarnation from the spiritual world, physical, etheric, and astral bodies are prepared to receive our spirit core. This profound mystery reveals the recapitulation of cosmic evolution, from Ancient Saturn through to present earth. Our studies will range from a study of the Book of Genesis to Occult Science, and how they weave together with cell biology and heredity.

All classes are offered freely, but you are encouraged to participate in our energy exchange. In acknowledgement of the widely varying financial situations of all people, there is no fixed price for this work, but we suggest a donation of $10-$40 for each eurythmy and each lecture class ($30-$120/series).
