We begin our eurythmy practice with very slow and mindful walking, focusing on how we use our feet, our balance and our gesture. It is essential that we learn to center ourselves in our heart chakra in our eurythmy practice. We learn to feel as if the heart shines with sun-gold. At the same time we imagine a crown of light on our head and power in the legs. We walk with the graceful control of water-bearers as we move through the world with ease and elegance. At the same time, this exercise is profoundly health-bringing, as it stimulates deep harmonies in our breath and pulse.
