The Four Elements and the Consonants

The Formative forces of Consonants, and Poetry to honor those who have died

The months of October and November begin with the triad of festivals marking Halloween, All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, marking the season of increasing outer darkness. The soberness will not be broken until Advent, the four weeks before Christmas in which we feel stirrings of anticipation.

We will ​engage in a study of the formative elemental forces in speech, and crown it with with poetry that celebrates our profound connection to the 4 elements.
