Webinar 44 Lesson 1

In this 7-part series, we will study the eurythmy gestures of the seven main planets of our solar system and their corresponding vowels, and link them with the 7 primary planets and their correspondences to the 7 primary organs of our digestive system.

Webinar 44 Lesson 2

In this week, we turned our attention to the Planetary Gestures of the Sun, the great bestower of our solar system, and to the Moon, the Might Reflector, who holds her might within herself while allowing the great source of all being to shine.

Webinar 44 Lesson 3

In this series, we are beginning each lesson with a beautiful verse by Rudolf Steiner to his colleague Ita Wegman, in which the meditant wakens in themself the experience of the Divine Spirit in Head, Heart and Limbs. The words of this verse stand as a kind of background for the entire lesson, and we practice Threefold Walking, Contraction/Expansion, Spirals and Pentagrams while cultivating an awareness of the these three elements of our body and how to experience them differently in body, soul and spirit.

Webinar 44 Lesson 4

Using the beautiful 7-pointed star for our choreography, we then did the Sun and the Moon gestures, followed by Saturn and U.
Then, building on the Thursday night lessons, we turned next to royal Jupiter, the ruling planet of the Liver, practicing how to feel and embody its royal and regal bearing. Jupiter carries the qualities of the benevolent king (or queen), of wisdom, abundance and generosity. Its sound is the vowel "O."

Webinar 44 Lesson 5

This week we completed the first step of introducing the eurythmy gestures and corresponding vowels for Mercury and Venus, and were able to study all seven vowels in the order of the days of the week. We when moved through the form of the beautiful seven-pointed star with the gestures and planets of all seven. At the end of the lesson, I recited the sacred meditative verse known as the "Mystery of Ephesus," which describes how the formative forces of each of the seven planets permeates our etheric body with seven specific qualities.

Webinar 44 Lesson 6

Consonants sound forth from the realm of the constellations, and in speech and gesture express the sculptural powers of the world around us. In Therapeutic Eurythmy their effect is primarily working to vigorously order and stimulate the movements and activities in the metabolic organs.

Webinar 44 Lesson 7

This final class was a slow and comprehensive review of all that we have studied in this series, including:
Meditative Verse,
Warmup exercises,
All planetary gestures and their corresponding vowels,
Consideration of consonants used in therapeutic eurythmy,
The Mystery of Ephesus
