The Zodiac in Eurythmy

In this, the seventh lesson of this series, we take a deep dive by bringing together all of the material that has been introduced and worked on during the previous six lessons. We studied more thoroughly the possibilities of adding many consonants to the poem, we learned how to create the entire circle of the zodiac in eurythmy with gestures and sounds, and how to "clothe" ourselves with their formative forces with an in-winding spiral and an exercise of feeling them from our head (our Aries pole) to our feet (Pisces). We concluded with a practice that included the planets and the Fourth Panel of the Foundation Stone meditation in eurythmy.
After our warmup exercises and our artistic poem, in this sixth lesson of the series, we learned how to do the entire macrocosmic circle of the zodiac, with gestures and corresponding consonants. We then learned how to do the microcosmic sequence of the consonants in relationship to 12 parts of the body, beginning with W and V around the head and ending with N in hands and feet.
In this, the 5th lesson in this series, we finished learning all of the consonants that are connected to the 12 signs of the zodiac, and we finally able to practice the sequence of doing the 12 zodiac gestures and the movements of their corresponding consonants.
In this class, we complete the study of the 12 signs of the zodiac in accordance with Rudolf Steiner's original indications that correspond to the 12 zones of the body.
In this, the third lesson of this series, I teach the original indications for the eurythmy gestures for the zodiac, drawing from the lectures given in the lecture course called "Eurythmy as Visible Speech."
In this class we learn the gestures for the "earth" or "plosive" consonants and the gestures for their corresponding constellations (Leo, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).
