Lesson 1
In these difficult times, nothing is more helpful than a powerful, conscious spiritual practice. This will help us to return again and again to our own sense of Embodiment, Truth and Purpose. For this, the first lesson of the Body as a Temple Eurythmy Class, we focused on the great eurythmy sound "U," When we speak this sound, we feel its dark, sonorous tones of focused energy. Its power pours into our body as a straight, stern and reliable scaffolding. It is revealed in our human form through our parallel "long bones" of the arms and of the legs. When we do the "U" in eurythmy, we pour ourselves into the security and surety that speaks in us "I am here, in my body. I am grounded, I am present." To cultivate this experience, we worked with the U in many variasions, culminating in the powerful "Hope-U" exercise.
