Poems and Soul Gestures 1
The practice of Soul gestures in eurythmy teaches us how the actively creative self does not need to live life at the mercy of the astral, or soul, body. Instead, as artists we plunge into different feelings and raise them into consciousness by creating them and then pouring the feelings into specific movements. We thereby become more aware, more awake, more flexible in spirit, soul and body. In this first session of this series, we began with 5 soul gestures: Earnestness, Lightness, Happiness, Laughter, and Sadness. We closed with a lovely Christmas poem by Angelus Silesius and the eurythmy "Halleluiah."
