The Etheric Art of Eurythmy: What is it?
This is the first of a three-part series that will explore the nature of the etheric body, in order to illuminiate the upcoming studies of the challenges presented to the etheric body through the effects of technology. In these first lectures we will build a foundation by understanding the Etheric Body as the carrier of the forces of the Logos.
This lecture presents an extensive study of the inner nature of music and how it is related to the innermost core of the human being. Music has created the human form and through eurythmy music shows us our spiritual being, helping us to overcome materialism and manifest spirit in our deepest being.
Therapeutic Eurythmy involves developing an individualized, daily personal eurythmy practice that aims to re-structure to force fields of a patient's own etheric body, thereby enabling the etheric and physical body to re-establish a healthful relationship. The movements of eurythmy derive from a body of knowledge that understands how the human being lives in a field of forces that are created and permeated by the macrocosmic forces of the constellations, the planets, and the differentiated dynamics of the four elements.
